Beverly’s Poem
You are my tree
Massive pillar of strengh
Standing over me
Protecting me
Sheltering me
Shading me
Love it is late fall here
still you are standing
Over me massive pillar
But you look named
And weak today
With no leaves
To cloth you
The sun reflects off snow
And blinds me
The icicles make your
Branches look infirm
You seem to only
Love me in the summer
So tree I am going
Home to mother
